PROGRAM: Women's Progress Night
March is National Women's History Month. We celebrate the progress in women's issues.

We will hear from four women who are making a difference across a spectrum of issues including job discrimination; equal pay; political and economic equality and securing it with an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that will guarantee equal rights for women; abortion rights; reproductive freedom and other women’s health issues; opposing racism; fighting bigotry against the LGBTQIA community; access to education; and ending violence against women.

Our four speakers will be followed by Q&A from the audience.

- Solandra Benton, Florida Black Women's Roundtable
a community group that works to empower women in low income areas.

- Vicki Impoco, Brevard NOW (National Organization for Women)
representing the largest organization of women activists in the USA.

- Doris Larson, Zonta Club of Melbourne
Zonta is a worldwide service organization of leaders in business and the professions working together to advance the status of women.

- Ruth Schechter, LVW Space Coast
The history of the League of Women Voters, which formed in the movement to secure voting rights for women.
