About this Event
Please join us for a celebration of a century of women’s suffrage in the U.S. with Claiming our Rights – Voices from the Movement for Women’s Suffrage on Sunday, March 7th at 7:30 PM, ET.
Voices will commemorate this historic anniversary by celebrating the contributions of Mabel Ping Hua-Lee, Francis Ellen Watkins Harper, Ida B. Wells, Frederick Douglass, Fannie Lou Hamer and many others.
We’ll be joined by a growing roster of artists including: music by Emily King, Celisse Henderson and Isa Bruder; narration by Kristina Wong; and readings by Amber Tamblyn, Stephanie Hsu, Delanna Studi, Alexis Floyd, and founding members of the Women’s March, as well as members of the Revival Resistance Chorus.
