Come Out With Pride 2021

Event by Orlando Pride
Hey Orlando! We’re excited to confirm that Come Out With Pride will take place at Lake Eola Park on Saturday, October 9th! We consulted with health professionals and local officials, conducted a local Come Out With Pride survey as well as reviewed an HRC Foundation national survey that both showed over 90% of LGBTQ+ adults have received at least one vaccine shot. A variety of health and safety measures will be implemented throughout the event in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and vaccinations and COVID-19 testing will also be available on site.
To manage crowd levels, all attendees will need to request a free RSVP in advance via Come Out With Pride’s website. People who are immunocompromised, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or do not wish to participate in person will still be able to experience Pride through live online broadcasts from the event.
We will make plenty more announcements of fun stuff in the coming weeks. Interested in helping with the planning?
One announcement we’re thrilled to share is that the National Trans Visibility March is also still planning an in-person event right before our Most Colorful Parade! The March will make a powerful statement that our community is dedicated towards ending transphobia, discriminatory legislation and unjust policies.
National Trans Visibility March:
If your company or organization is interested in being a vendor in our Marketplace or participating in our Most Colorful Parade, the applications are still OPEN! Sponsorships and other opportunities are also available.
Last but not least, we have a team dedicated to assembling a bid for Orlando to host WorldPride in 2026 to mark the ten year remembrance of the Pulse nightclub tragedy. This would be an opportunity to thank people around the world for their kindness and generosity in the weeks and months that followed, while also giving us a global platform to share the story of how our community has grown stronger and more connected. There are still lots of ways to get involved — please consider joining our efforts.
