Stand to DEMAND CLEAN WATER. Year after year, our Representatives have kicked the can down the road while polluters have been given a pass, and our infrastructure is overburdened and underfunded.
430+ manatees have perished in the Indian River Lagoon, there’s regular sanitary sewer overflow, a 7.2 million + sewage spill happened in the City of Titusville in December, the sea turtles are sick, the government is spraying glyphosate in our waterways, our fish have tumors all over them, toxic algae blooms are rampant, there’s no more brine shrimp or seagrass, our groundwater and drinking water is contaminated with PFAS, and we taxed ourselves for this?
Enough is enough. We have organized, asked, bartered, and begged for reform; now it’s time to DEMAND clean water.
This demonstration will begin at 4:00 pm on April 6, 2021, one hour before the county commission meeting at the government building in Viera, Florida.
This demonstration is NON-PARTISAN. OUR message is simple: “The People of Brevard DEMAND CLEAN WATER!”
*Social distancing and masks are encouraged.
