Get me to Tallahassee: LGBTQIA @ Lobby Days!

In today’s political climate in Florida, the LGBTQIA+ community has seen yearly and persistent attacks by our state legislature and the laws they choose to pass. This has become an unending movement to discriminate, suppress, and erase LGBTQIA+ Floridians.
I intend to travel twice this year to Tallahassee to participate in Lobby Days to assist our local and statewide LGBTQIA+ organizations. We need as many representatives of our community to show up and represent our values and to defend our civil and personal rights as Floridians and US citizens.
We will be seeking to stop or temper any and all negative legislation that affects our community. Florida has become a proving ground for legislation that can escalate and spread to a national level. It is imperative that we prevent this legislation from moving forward.
These trips to support our community have become increasingly expensive. I am looking to fund these trips and possibly other trips to conferences and meetings around the State of Florida to support and represent the Space Coast and the greater community of LGBTQIA+ citizens. I am humbly asking the public to assist me in raising funds for this endeavor.
