KWANZAA ONLINE CELEBRATION

Online Event
https://bit.ly/kwanzaaonline
Join us during the week of Kwanzaa for an online celebration via Zoom. We are going to have a lot of fun while we learn and share together.
From Dec 26, to Jan 1 everyday at 7pm CST we will be live online celebrating Kwanzaa. We will light our candles, discuss that days principle from the Nguzo Saba and celebrate as a community.
We realize that during the pandemic, gathering in large groups physically might not be possible for many of us, but we can still come together in mind and spirit (virtually on ZOOM).
Kwanzaa is an African-American cultural holiday celebrated by more than 35 million people of African descent throughout the world.
As Black people, we truly have to consider the customs and traditions we cling to and pass down consciously and unconsciously. Especially those that were not created for us, by us and often don’t benefit us.
We should embrace celebrations that are in alignment with our values.
