Safety in Voting for the Trans Community in Florida Orlando

Trans leaders of the community will share their concerns and what issues they’ve experienced while voting in person. We will hear from local voting rights experts on what they are doing or plan to do to address some of these concerns, and we will draft letters based on these concerns to Florida Supervisors of Elections with best practices to address safety concerns, inclusion, and the trans community’s ability to cast their in-person vote ahead of the 2022 Midterm Election.

Additionally, we will share resources and best practices for how to protect our Trans siblings at the Polls. This is a safe, inclusive, brave space. The exact location will be shared after registration.
