The foundation of a healthy democracy is independent and informative media. Dictators thrive on media that cover up information and serve them with lies they find useful. Many of the people that vote for or support authoritarians do so based on false information. This is one of the reasons why the truth is so important.

Prime examples of this are the totally discredited lies that there is rampant voter fraud or that vote by mail leads to fraud. These lies are being used here to suppress the vote. Reporters and TV anchors have lost their careers
for telling the truth even here in America.

We now have social media where information is being deliberately falsified by foreign operators. Many in the media are threatened by loss of funds or corporate takeovers which limit their journalistic freedom as well as their jobs.

In several countries, even their lives are in danger. Please join us for this informative program and help us to fight back
and support some of our local media institutions.
