Yes, it’s a catchy slogan. We love Princess Leia and what she stands for, but you know we truly mean “A HUMAN’s place is in the resistance!” We’re all about strong women here at hello again books, but this is about all of us!
Let your voice be heard! Register to vote at hello again books on July 16th!
In direct response to changes regarding reproductive rights and what this supreme court ruling sets the stage for regarding gay marriage, we are advocating that as many of our patrons as possible be eligible to vote in local, state, and national elections. Your vote counts. You have a voice.
With this in mind… we’ll have voter registration staff at hello again books to 1) register anyone who meets eligibility requirements and 2) make a voting day plan so you can get to the polls!
We invite all Florida candidates to visit the store on July 16th to meet members of the community and listen to their concerns.
hello again books has invited local registration officials to register individuals who express interest in registering to vote. Should you want to register to vote at this event, please bring your Florida driver’s license (Florida DL) or Florida identification card (Florida ID card) issued by the Florida Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles.
You may be asked to provide the last 4-digits of your Social Security number if you don’t have ID.
